Undocumented Students: Students who are undocumented can enroll in college at many schools across the country and in Virginia. Students who are undocumented will most likely pay out-or-state tuition costs and are not eligible for federal student aid.

July 2020 update: Undocumented Virginia residents are now eligible for in-state tuition!! Check with each college financial aid office for more information.  Basic requirements for eligibility: undocumented students are eligible for in-state tuition, as long as they’ve lived in Virginia for at least two years, and they or their parents filed taxes.
