Univ. & Colleges Visit to Answer Questions

Beginning September 12th, Colleges and Universities from across the country will visit W-L. The visits are open to all students grades 9-12, though most students find them beneficial in 11th and 12th grade. If students are interested in attending a college visit, they must do two (2) things:

  1. Sign-up in their Naviance accounts (no username/password needed. Students sign-in through their MyAccess Single Sign-on). Go to Naviance, My Colleges, Research Colleges, College Visits, Register Now
  2. Obtain a pass from Ms. Catino or anyone in counseling at least two days prior to the visit. The pass must be signed by the student’s teacher allowing them to be released from class.

A full list of scheduled visits is available in Naviance and on the College and Career website:

https://wl.apsva.us/office-of-counseling-services/college-career-counseling-office/Scheduled%20College%20Visits96/

College visits are available both in-person and virtual. Any college visit that occurs after-school (3:30pm) will be virtual visits and an APS staff member will NOT be present.
