2025 Fruit & Nut Sale: October 1 – November 3, 2025

The citrus fruit sale has been a long-standing fundraising activity of the W-L Band. The Band also sells delicious gourmet Virginia nuts. All profits directly support the W-L Band’s spring competition, clinics and other band activities.

Tag Day September 13, 2025

What’s Tag Day? Teams of students from the W-L Band canvas designated sections of the W-L school district seeking financial support for W-L’s outstanding Band program. A parent driver accompanies each student team. It is called “Tag Day” because the students leave “tags” at each house promoting the fundraiser and sharing upcoming performance dates. The W-L Band Boosters is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization, so your donation may qualify as a tax deduction.These are a few examples of how your donation helps to fund the W-L Band program:

$100 provides one student scholarship for an out of town performance
$75 helps defer registration fees for one competition
$50 covers repairs for instruments
$20 pays for the upkeep of one band uniform
