UPDATE: Device Re-Imaging

Dear Washington-Liberty Parents and Students:

As finals exams and the school year come to an end on Wednesday, June 15th, I want to provide you with an update on device re-imaging for Washington-Liberty High School students. Those students who are enrolled in ANY summer learning program such Virtual Virginia, Edmentum, The Governor’s School, or Summer School you will have priority re-imaging status and will have your devices ready for pick up the week of June 20th.  All other Washington-Liberty Students NOT enrolled in a summer learning program will have their computers returned on a rolling basis over the summer before the start of the school year. It is vital that you drop off your device AFTER ALL final exams are completed. The drop-off location is the Wrestling Room at W-L. Upon arrival, a sticker will be placed on your device with pertinent information vital to making sure you get your device returned to you. If you do not drop off your device right after finals conclude and you do so later in the summer, it could impact the device being ready for the first day of school (August 29th). In addition, not turning in your device for re-imaging will result in the device not working. Please make plans to complete this necessary step in making sure your device operates properly for coursework over the summer and for the start of the school year.

Estimados padres y estudiantes de Washington-Liberty:

Como los exámenes finales y el año escolar llegan a su fin el miércoles 15 de junio, quiero brindarles una actualización sobre la re-imagen de dispositivos para estudiantes de Washington-Liberty High School. Aquellos estudiantes que estén inscritos en CUALQUIER programa de aprendizaje de verano, como Virtual Virginia, Edmentum, The Governor’s School o Summer School, tendrán un estado prioritario de re-imagen y tendrán sus dispositivos listos para recoger la semana del 20 de junio. A todos los demás estudiantes de Washington-Liberty que NO estén inscritos en un programa de aprendizaje de verano se les devolverán las computadoras de forma continua durante el verano antes del comienzo del año escolar. Es vital que entregue su dispositivo DESPUÉS de que se hayan completado TODOS los exámenes finales. El lugar de entrega es Wrestling Room en WL. A su llegada, se colocará una etiqueta en su dispositivo con información pertinente vital para asegurarse de que le devuelvan su dispositivo. Si no entrega su dispositivo inmediatamente después de que concluyan los exámenes finales y lo hace más tarde en el verano, podría afectar que el dispositivo esté listo para el primer día de clases (29 de agosto). Además, si no entrega su dispositivo para volver a generar la imagen , el dispositivo no funcionará.
