Students Hit the Campaign Trail for President of the VA Jr. Classical League

Twenty-five Washington – Liberty High School students attended and competed at the Virginia Junior Classical League State Convention. The event was held over the weekend before Thanksgiving in Richmond, VA. Supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic campaign staff which included: Kaylee Board (pictured) and Annabel Phoel (pictured), as well as Carson Brantley, Caroline LaPiana, Michael Robertson, Lauren Rylander, Jana Smith-Perry, Lara Schneidawind, Luella Wallander, Savannah Thompson.

Thompson ran a very professional campaign, gave an awesome speech for candidacy, and was elected then sworn in as President of the VJCL at the final assembly. Felicitates!
