Students Headed to Governor’s School

Congratulations to these W-L students that will attend the Virginia Dept. of Education’s Governor’s School Academic Programs this summer:

The Governor’s School Application process is highly competitive and was made even more challenging due to COVID. We had less students invited this year due to COVID — Medicine & Health program will not operate this year due to COVID;  Humanities, Visual Performing Arts, and Agriculture are operating at half capacity in-person; JLAB and VIMS are virtual; and Mathematics, Science & Technology is full capacity in-person.
