World Languages Poster Competition

The APS Office of World Languages would like to students to submit their artwork for our inaugural poster contest for the annual World Languages Showcase.

World Languages Showcase Poster Contest

The showcase serves to highlight languages and culture taught in all courses offered in APS: American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Latin & Spanish. The winner of the contest will have their art featured on this year’s official advertisement to schools and the APS community as well as earn a certificate and gift card as a prize. Additionally, the students earning 2nd and 3rd place will receive certificates and a gift card prize.

Entry Requirements:

  • The art must be the student’s original work and must be unpublished
  • The art must be 2D with a size of 16” x 20”; portrait orientation
  • Permissible media include painting and drawing
  • The art should relate to the global and/or local impact of languages (spoken and signed).

Timeline:

Fri., Dec. 12: Last day for students to submit art to their world language teacher, the world language department lead, or art teacher, along with the completed Entry Form
