W-L Fall Sports Try-Outs

Fall Sports Try-Out Information:

New this year-we have transitioned from rSchool online registration to Arbiter online registration. So all families will need to create a new account to register. Physical exams are now valid for 14-months from the date of exam, so some physicals from the 2024-25 school year will still be valid for the start of the 2025-26 school year. Once a physical expires, the family is responsible for re-uploading a new physical in your Arbiter registration account for the athlete to remain cleared for participation.

W-L Athletics online registration is now open for the 2025-26 school year.

Parents/Guardians of student-athletes intending to participate in athletics MUST:

1. Please create an account and register. Only one account is needed for your entire family.

2. Complete the online registration process which includes: uploading a doctor signed and dated VHSL Athletic participation form PAGE 3 ONLY. The link for Page 3 of the New VHSL Physical form updated April 2025 is here: Physical page to upload. YOU SUBMIT THIS TO THE SCHOOL. The link for Page 4-6 of the Physical pre-exam form to take to the doctor is here: Physical form for doctor. DO NOT UPLOAD THIS FORM, YOU KEEP THIS ON FILE WITH YOUR DOCTOR.

3. Wait for the athletic trainer to review the registration (24-48 hours). You will receive a “cleared for athletic participation” email , or notification if something is missing. The “cleared for athletic participation” email is required before attending try-outs.

4. Meet all eligibility requirements prior to engaging in any athletic activity.

Families should create one family account for eligible students for sports throughout their high school careers. Please select all sports of interest when registering for the school year.

VHSL requires that all athletes must have health insurance. For those students not already covered, APS recommended student accident insurance is available for purchase. Information on this insurance can be found at: https://enrollment.k12studentinsurance.com/enrolment/home
