Author Visit: Elizabeth Acevedo shares her works on Dec. 4th

As part of the Arlington High School Community Read, Elizabeth Acevedo, award-winning author of With the Fire on High and Poet X, will be coming to Washington-Liberty HS on Wednesday, December 4, during 1st period.

Elizabeth Acevedo won the 2018 National Book Award for Young People’s Literature and the Printz Award for Excellence in Young Adult Fiction. She also received the 2019 Pure Belpre Author Award for celebrating, affirming and portraying Latinx culture and experience.
