The Washington – Lee HS Band and Guitar Ensemble earned Outstanding Performance at the Nashville Band Competition. Followed by Jazz Big Band, Symphonic Band and Guitar Ensemble all earning Superior Gold Rating with the highest score being 97 out of 100. The Concert Band earned an Excellent Silver Rating with a score of 88 out of 100. The Jazz Big Band also won the Adjudicators Top Choice Award with Christopher Tate winning the Most Outstanding Soloist Award.
