Class of 2024 Important Dates :

  • Tuesday June 4 – Senior Day/Graduation Practice (Tentative Schedule):
    • Awards Ceremony @ 8:45am
    • Mandatory Graduation Practice @ 9:45am
    • Farewell Assembly @ 10:45am
    • Senior Picnic @ Quincy Park @ 11:30am
  • Friday June 7 – Last Day of Senior Experience.
  • Thursday June 13 – 10am Graduation at DAR Constitution Hall
    • Seniors riding the buses should arrive at Washington-Liberty HS (entrance 5 – bus lane) by 8am. Buses will not wait, so be on time. Seniors going directly to Constitution Hall must be in line no later than 9:15am.
    • No one will be allowed to enter Constitution Hall between 9:50 – 10:05am due to safety measures put into place by Constitution Hall. Doors open for guests at 9am – Please arrive early.  

CLASS DUES: $60

ALL DUES for years 9 – 12 MUST BE PAID.

9th – 11th grade – $25 each year

12th grade – $60

They are $60 to pay for your Cap and Gown, senior picnic, and other senior events.

Review with the Administrative Assistants in Room 1019 (Ms. Browne crystal.browne@apsva.us / Ms. Ormeno shirley.ormeno@apsva.us) to determine what dues are still owed.

Then bring a CHECK or CASH to Room 1019. Checks made out to: Washington – Liberty High School

Prom Promise

Students have to go to the Senior Canvas page, read the info posted under prom promise and complete the assignment.

Soon thereafter, our Arlington Police Dept. has planned a short safety presentation.

Graduation Cap & Gown Information

College Visits – College Visitation Verification (CVV) Form

Parents/Guardians and Students,When planning for a college visit, fill out this form PRIOR to college visit (if it is to be used for the attendance review process).Before the visit: 

  • Download the “College Visitation Verification (CVV) Form” (link) or pick up a paper copy in Room 1019.
  • Fill out part one (1)
  • Have the Senior Administrator sign the CVV Form (Mr. Paul Jamelske – Class of 2024)

During the visit:

  • Have a college Official complete and sign Part Two (2) of the CVV Form.

After the visit:

  •  Take the signed CVV Form to our Attendance Office to be used in the attendance review process.

Off-Campus Privileges

Seniors are ALLOWED to leave campus for lunch and are expected to return on time for the following class.
