Three Students Earn Scholastic Arts National Awards

W-L students received 4 out of 5 American Vision (best of the show) awards in regional Scholastic Art awards.

Three W-L students were recognized with the National Medal Awards;

American Vision Medal Drawing – Lora Calderon Roush (11th grade) – Centipede (pictured)

Silver Medal Portfolio – Piz Cruz (12th  grade) – My Garden of Eden

Silver Medal Painting –  Emily Williams (9th grade)  – Toy Story

T. Walsh Earns 2024 Military Child of the Year® Award

She has logged 830 volunteer hours in the past 12 months, much of it through her high school’s volunteer opportunities. Walsh mentored more than 40 freshmen students and is active in the Key Club, ACLU Club, and Student Council Association.
