“Send a Message. Stay Drug Free” Campaign Promotes Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 23 – 31

RED RIBBON WEEK is a drug prevention awareness event that allows young people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs.

This year’s theme is “Send a Message. Stay Drug Free.” During this week; parents, educators, and the community are encouraged to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle to start a conversation about the negative effects of substance use.

Our W-L Substance Abuse Counselor, Ms. Maria Ceballos, is promoting Red Ribbon Week on October 28th and would have a table set up during all lunches to provide information and resources to promote a drug-free lifestyle.
