It’s Academic Team Off To A Hot Start In 2019

Washington – Lee HS “It’s Academic Team” has been very busy during the month of January attending various competitions around Norther Virginia. They took 2nd Place at the District Scholastic Tournament, qualifying for Regionals and beating schools traditional powerhouses, Yorktown HS and Langley HS. The team was even forced to split the squad in two to compete in multiple locations on the same day. They attend the Regional Scholastic Tournament as well as the History Bow, proving their knowledge against Thomas Jefferson HS and McLean HS. Overall it’s been a hectic start to 2019, however, the team has been very well prepared and shown they can accept the challenge.
