We are SO very proud this morning to recognize Ms. Danielle Day as The APS Teacher of the Year!
Throughout her tenure here at W-L, Danielle has been the consummate professional. She has worked tirelessly as the Special Education Co-Department Chair and works with Life Skills and our SPSA students. Her goals and expectations are high for her students. She wants them to be thriving members of their community, with the skills & abilities to live independently.
Her colleagues describe her as one who “makes the work look easy”. She is dedicated to working with parents solving the hardest challenges while also constantly celebrating student success. We want to congratulate her on this achievement…for it is a lofty one!
