APS Celebrates Women’s History Month

As March begins, APS proudly celebrates Women’s History Month. The 2026 theme by the National Women’s History Alliance is Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future.

This year’s focus recognizes women who are leading innovation in education, science, community organizing, entrepreneurship and public policy, driving solutions to complex, interconnected challenges facing our world.

We encourage our APS community to engage with the diverse stories of women who have made history and those who continue to shine. Together, we celebrate the women leading change today, and those who will shape a more sustainable future for generations to come.
