Senior, Katty Michelle Rojas, Earns Prestigious Posse Scholarships

Washington-Liberty HS senior Katty Michelle Rojas, was selected to receive a four-year, full-tuition scholarship from The Posse Foundation to attend a partner institution.

The Posse Foundation recruits and trains outstanding young people from urban high schools and sends them to top colleges and universities as part of supportive, multicultural teams or “Posses” of ten (10) students.

Senior, James Licato, Finalist for 80th Regeneron Science Talent Search, Collects $25,000

Senior James Licato has been named a Top 300 Scholar in the 80th Regeneron Science Talent Search. His science project titled Development of a Zeolite Composite Material for the Simultaneous Removal of Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care Products (PPCPs), and Perfluorinated Alkyl Substances (PFAS) in Water Treatment will now advance to final round of competition.
