Esports Club

LoL team first practiceThe esports club at W-L is a place for gamers, both competitive and casual, to meet and play in a structured and supportive environment. The club meets every third Thursday of the month, however different teams also meet and practice weekly.  Through the club, students are able to compete in the High School Esports League and new this year, as a state-sponsored academic activity through the Virginia High School League (VHSL).  We also host two LAN events each year open to all APS high school students; see below for more info on that.  Please contact Mr. Carey ( for more details about the club or events.
