Student travels to Washington to Present Winning VJAS Project

James Licato was invited to present his winning Virginia Junior Academy of Science (VJAS) project at the annual meeting of American Association for the Advancement of Science/AJAS in Seattle, Washington this past weekend.

This project won the “Best Paper Award” at the 2019 VJAS’s annual symposium and a trip to the annual AAAS/AJAS meeting was the prize. The weekend included multiple events and tours of Seattle, the University of Washington, local museums and the Microsoft campus.
